For hire to community groups, artist groups & individual artists. The exhibition program strives to be inclusive of all artists, including people of all communities, cultures, abilities, ages, sexuality, and faiths.

In exhibiting we ask artists to consider the following questions:
1) Does your artwork speak of lived experiences that are not your own?
2) Does your artwork represent cultures that are not your own?
3) Do you make commentary on race, religion, sexuality or ability through your artwork – please refer to our Code of Conduct and DCA’s Mission Statement on our website.

This coming March we are offering our members the chance to exhibit in our fifth member’s exhibition. The 2025 theme is A BIT WEIRD, A BIT REBELLIOUS

Weird is a relative term. This exhibition theme calls out to our ‘weird and wonderful’ community. Artists are asked to celebrate and put at the forefront everything that inspires us in our internal and external worlds, from the depths of the ocean to the endlessness of space, embrace our neurodivergence and push back against societal expectations. Agitate and rebel against that which holds us back, seeks to repress or restrict. Join us in getting your weird on!

Community access studio
7am – 10pm Monday – Sunday
Open access studio space & printmaking studio for hire to community groups and individual artists for one-off workshops and short-term community projects. DCA hires accessible art spaces to local community groups for art projects. Studio hire fees are provided at a subsidised rate and include the use of the space on an hourly basis, use of DCA equipment, DCA admin and overheads – HIRE DOES NOT INCLUDE ART MATERIALS. Full hire rate is $25 if your event is ticketed, the fees are on a sliding scale for individuals and community groups.
